Hihi!! Happy Pod the North Tuesday!

Indigiqueer me!
The warm weather is here and that means it’s time to CELEBRATE!
In honour of June being both Pride Month and National Indigenous History Month, I’ve compiled some wonderfully Indigiqueer podcasts and episodes to check out this month and help us truly celebrate our communities and maybe even yourself!
Queering Canada: Decolonizing Funding and Empowering Two-Spirit Indigenous Organizations.
Personally, I’ve been really loving this new podcast that came out of The Enchanté Network in March of this year, and this episode is a great resource to check out this month. There’s really great chat around the term “Two-Spirit”, and about economic reconciliation.
Red Nation Podcast: Queer Indigenous Feminism and Indigenous Movements in Media
Melanie Yazzie and Elena Ortiz in conversation with Tommy Pico and Chad Charlie, writers for the hit FX series Reservation Dogs.
Historical Homos: Ruin That Columbussy

Thoughts from the ecosystem:
I reached out to Canada Council for the Art for details on if and how they fund podcasts, and they told me that they “do fund podcasts but it really depends on the type of podcast.” I chatted with folks in the community to find out what that means, and uncovered more and more podcasts that have been grant supported.
Here’s the scoop:
Check out this Canadian Indie: From a Full Cup
You know you can’t pour from an empty cup. It's time to fill yours.
From a Full Cup is for purpose-seeking Women of Colour and allies who are ready to dream big, take action, and move the needle- while making wellness a priority.
We're talking disruptive wellness, self-care that's real, and mindset shifts that'll have you leveling up and showing up, unapologetically. Redefine what wellness means to you and pursue your goals with joy, peace and purpose.
True North Podcast Feature: Actors & Ancestors
Season 2 starts June 21st, with Dallas Goldtooth (Reservation Dogs).
