Canadians have been through a lot lately—long winters, aggressive geese, and now, apparently, the U.S. thinking they can just have us? Yeah, no. If there was ever a time to celebrate the weird and wonderful Canadian identity… It's now!

Mar 19, 2025 — The Beaverton Weekly Report has returned after 7 years, right when Canadians need it the most! Editor-in-Chief Luke Gordon Field is joined by a panel of comedians to talk, mock and riff their way through the news of the week.

Mar 20, 2025 — BookTok Influencer, Morgann Book has launched a new podcast: Off The Shelf with Morgann Book, alongside the launch of her new media company, Bookish Media. The new podcast dives into buzz-worthy reads, book-to-screen adaptations, and candid author chats, PLUS theres a book club!

Mar 24, 2025 — “Campaign Cops” is the new series of Bubble Pop episodes that join Rachel Gilmore and Paris Marx as they cover the current Canadian federal election campaign and “hold the most powerful people in our country to account”.

Apr 2, 2025 — CBC Podcasts has joined forces with Wolf Entertainment, USG Audio and Dig Studios to release Aftermath: Hunt for the Anthrax Killer a new eight-part series that goes inside the story one of the largest and most confounding FBI investigations in history, in the aftermath of the deadly bioterror attack that gripped America in the early 2000s.

Apr 7, 2025 — Yes, We Are Open, the podcast sharing inspiring stories of Canadian small business has returned with its 8th season, this time featuring businesses in Regina. The trailer is out now!

You oughta know…

Want your podcast on the radio in Ontario’s cottage country? Muskoka Information Radio is on the hunt for 5-10 minute long podcasts to promote and air during their 24 hour cycle. They’re also open to longer podcasts that can be broken up into shorter sections. There’s a brand new Canadian podcast event coming to Canada’s East Coast: The Echo Podcast Summit. Set to take place in Halifax on June 19th, some of the big themes panels and workshops will address include "Gurus, Experts and Junk Science”, ‘Outsiders’ VS ‘Legacy Media’, and Parasocial Ethics & Responsibility. Big Shiny Takes, “the world’s only anti-free speach podcast”, has announced that after 5 years of reading the worst pieces in Canadian from newspapers, the show has announced that it’s coming to an end. In their final episode, Eric, Marino and Jeremy talk about the show and whats next as they move on to greener pastures.

Canadians have been making the global rounds to address how furious we are right now. Recently Jordan Heath-Rawlings (Elbows Up) joined the BBC’s Americast to discuss. Back on March 14th, Toronto Mike(’d) was also on CNN talking about the impact of tariffs on Canadians.
