Pod the North: Canadian Podcast Discovery and Ecosystem Commentary

Welcome to Pod the North! A free, biweekly newsletter for the Canadian podcasting community!

I’m Kattie Laur, a Canadian freelance podcast producer who’s desperate to see some change in this industry!

What are we doing here?

Pod the North is my attempt to uplift the Canadian podcast ecosystem and foster community in this fractured space. I want to create a northern revolution that will put Canadian podcasts on the map, indie and network alike!

Every other Tuesday, get a fresh issue of Pod the North that includes:

  • Canadian podcast ecosystem commentary (to keep you in the loop)

  • Indie podcast features

  • Indigenous podcast features

  • Opportunities for your podcast ($$$ and notoriety!)

  • Digestible interviews with Canadian podcasters who you need to know about

  • Anything I think you’ll find helpful or hilarious (probably some tweets)

  • Plus, sometimes some bonus content in between regular issues!

What’s Kattie got to do with it?
